In case you are still wondering…..
⭕️ “It looks easy when you do it, but I’m sure it’s hard”
I simplify and explain all the techniques and we practice together in the live class.
Remember, we are going to focus on relaxing and enjoying, rather than getting ‘perfect results’. Trust me, I know how the perfection loop can paralyze and stop you from creating……I was there for a loooong time!😅
⭕️ “ Watercolors are so unpredictable and they flow everywhere…… it’s frustrating”
True, watercolors do seem to have a mind of their own. But once you understand how the paint moves based on the wetness of the paper and amount of water on the brush, you will start enjoying playing in partnership with watercolors!
Instead of controlling, you guide……..like steering a boat with the current, not against it!
This was a big game changer for me!
⭕️ “ I believe one has to be born talented / gifted to create art
And I firmly believe that talent is a myth!
Each one of us is born creative and we all have our unique strengths and unique ways of expressing our creativity! Just allow yourself the freedom to express it……
⭕️ “ I don’t have time”
You don’t need hours to play with watercolors!
Most of my students paint for just 10- 15 minutes couple times a week and they are already seeing the progress! It’s also great self care ……so relaxing and calming to watch the colors flow and blend when you let go and enjoy the process!
Watercolors are also quick and easy to set up, easy to clear and easy to carry in your bag if you decide to paint during lunch break at work or at the park while your kids are playing🎨🤩
Think of this as a breath of fresh air- a creative pause that energizes you!

Hi! I am Madhupriya Srinivasan, Artist, Business owner and Mom!
And I’ve been there too, —watching others make watercolors look so effortless while my paper buckled, ripped and the water went all over the place! I remember feeling so lost about what supplies to buy, where to get them, and whether I was even using the "right" stuff. And instead of just relaxing and enjoying the process, I was stressing over the final result—trying so hard to make it look "good" that I forgot to have fun.
But everything changed when I shifted to a play mindset. I gave myself permission to mess up, to experiment, to enjoy. And that’s when watercolor became something I love rather than something I struggled with.
That’s the magic of play—it opens up creativity, makes learning fun, and takes the pressure off.
Now watercolor is my favorite medium and I can’t wait to share my playful approach and the Joys of watercolors with you!
Are you also ready to embrace the beauty of ‘imperfection,’ and discover a creative flow that’s not only fun but also relaxing?
